When Sumsub ID Verification Fails
Sumsub ID verification is important to verify ownership of the uploaded documents. It helps ensure there is no identity fraud and that your data can be reused seamlessly within our ecosystem, in compliance with our terms and conditions.
To confirm ownership, you must complete the verification process, however, it is possible that your application may be rejected.
As document data will be stored directly within Sumsub ID, Sumsub acts here as a Data Controller, as described in data privacy law.
However, if your verification is rejected during verifying with Sumsub partner, you need to contact their support team or continue verification on http://id.sumsub.com/
When verifying with Sumsub partner, Sumsub does not define which data or documents are required, which regions are supported, or any other verification conditions. These are determined by the companies you verify for, based on their local regulations and internal policies.

Cannot continue verification
The reasons you might not be able to continue verification are:
- Unsupported region (North Korea, Iran or Venezuela)
- Age is under 18
- Suspected violation of our Terms and Conditions: https://id.sumsub.com/terms
You can always delete your account and try again, but please note that if you are under 18 or from an unsupported region, it will still not be possible to use Sumsub ID.
My document was rejected
