What is Sumsub ID
Sumsub ID stores your verified identity documents in one secure account so you can reuse instantly across 4000 services — no re-uploading your passport, no repeating the same steps.
Why use Sumsub ID
Every time you sign up for a new financial app, exchange, or wallet, you are asked to prove your identity. Sumsub ID lets you do that work once and carry it forward.
Faster sign-ups. Verify in seconds with a quick face scan instead of uploading documents from scratch.
You stay in control. You choose which documents to share and with whom. Nothing is shared without your permission.
One account, many apps. Your Sumsub ID works across thousands of apps that use Sumsub for verification.
How it works
You create a Sumsub ID account and verify your identity (upload a document and complete a face scan).
Your verified documents are saved in your Sumsub ID account at id.sumsub.com.
The next time an app asks you to verify, you can sign in to your Sumsub ID, select the documents you want to share, and complete a quick face scan to confirm it is you.
The app still runs its own checks on the shared documents — Sumsub ID skips the upload step, not the compliance checks.
Important: each app sets its own rules
Having a verified Sumsub ID does not guarantee that every app will accept your verification. Each app decides which documents it accepts, which regions it supports, and what requirements to apply. If an app rejects your verification, it is because of that app's specific rules, not a problem with your Sumsub ID account.
If you are rejected at a specific app, contact that app's support team.
