Video Identification

You may be required to pass verification in a live video interview with an identification expert (Video Identification).

Sumsub does not define which data or documents are required, which regions are supported, or any other verification conditions. These are determined by the companies you verify for, based on their local regulations and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Required documents such as a passport, driving license, ID card, or a residence permit (depending on the client's requirements)

  • Stable internet connection

  • Browser and operating system updated to the latest versions

  • Permission for the browser/app to access your camera and microphone

Steps

  1. Introduction and camera check

    • Follow instructions and click Continue.

    • Allow camera access, ensure it works.

    • Click Start call.

  2. Connect to the Expert

    • Wait for the expert to connect.

    • Follow the expert’s instructions.

  3. Verification process

    • Provide documents.

    • Take a selfie and answer the identification expert's questions.

    • Finish the call when done.

  4. Results

    • Wait a few minutes for verification processing.

    • View results on your screen.
