Sumsub does not define which data or documents are required, which regions are supported, or any other verification conditions. These are determined by the companies you verify for, based on their local regulations and internal policies.
Image requirements
The uploaded image must be:
- An original photo or scan in JPG, JPEG, PNG, or PDF format
- At least 100 KB or 300 DPI
- In color, high-quality and readable
- All corners fully visible
Do not upload:
- Animated images
- Screenshots
- Black-and-white photos
- Images containing foreign objects or graphic elements
- Images edited with graphics software or converted to PDF
Address document requirements
The uploaded document must:
- Be issued within the past three months, with the date visible
- Be in good condition (not scratched, stained, or torn)
- Show full name, issue date, issuing company/authority, full home address with an indication of city, street, house and flat number)
- Match the name on the ID document
If you use an ID document as proof of address, it must be:
- Valid for at least one month from the date of upload
- Of good condition (not scratched, stained, or torn)
- Complete with important data (full name, date of birth, photo, document number, issue/expiration date) and clear MRZ (Machine-Readable Zone)
