With Sumsub’s KYB check, you can verify your company by providing a range of data on any given legal entity. Follow these steps to pass verification.
Please note that some of these steps may not be included in your verification process. It depends on the requirements of your project.
- Fill in the Company data form: enter your 'Company name', 'Registration number', 'Company email'* and select a country from the drop down list.
Also, check the box if information about UBOs cannot be provided.
The ‘Company email’ field is an optional field. Any other information may be requested. - Upload documents confirming the company's legal existence and identifying the company's beneficial owners.
The number of documents that can be uploaded is unlimited. The more documents one uploads, the more likely it is that the company will be approved. - Provide data about the UBOs.
This step may be skipped via checking the box on the Company data screen.
3. 1. Provide information about the UBOs: specify the UBO’s position and fill in all the required fields—'First name', 'Middle name', 'Last name', 'Email, Date of birth', and 'Contact number'.3. 2. Pass identity verification for the UBOs. You have two options: click ‘Start verification flow’ and the window with the check will open in a new tab. Alternatively, you may send the verification link via email or copy it.
3. 3. Click ‘Add participant’.
3. 4. Change the provided data or add UBOs if needed.3. 5. Click ‘Next’. You will be redirected to the ‘Shareholders’ screen.
- Provide data about the Shareholders.
The ‘Shareholders’ screen includes forms ‘Individual’ and ‘Company’. The ‘Individual’ form is similar to that of the ‘UBO’s’ form; you can provide data and pass/share the check in the same way. If you need to fill in the ‘Company’ form, follow the steps below.
4.1. Provide information about the company: enter all the required data — such as the 'Company name', 'Registration number', 'Country', 'Percentage of ownership', and 'Company email'.
4. 2. Pass identity verification for the Shareholders. You have two options: click ‘Start verification flow’ and a window with the check will open in a new tab. Alternatively, you may send a verification link via email or copy the link.
4. 3. Click ‘Add participant’.
4. 4. Change the provided data or add Shareholders if needed.
4. 5. Click ‘Next’. You will be redirected to the ‘Representatives’ screen. - Provide data about the Representatives.
The ‘Representatives’ screen is also similar to the ‘UBO’s’ and the ‘Shareholders’ forms; you can provide data here and pass/share the check in the same way.
5. 1. Click ‘Next’ after you enter the data and pass the check. You will be redirected to the ‘Checking the data’ screen. - Check the prodived data to ensure that everything is correct. Edit information if needed and click ‘Submit’.
- Wait for the system’s response.
An applicant may be resubmitted for a few main reasons:
- Incorrect information has been entered. Edit the company data.
- Some beneficiaries are not specified. Add all the required members of the company.
- Documents don't meet the requirements or weren't uploaded. Upload documents according to the requirements.
